Rema Cole is the ministry founder and facilitator of the Healing Heart's Ministry founded in 2005. She is an author, speaker, music directress, songwriter, and praise and worship leader. Rema resides in the city of Akron, Ohio. Rema has authored several books, "Help, I'm Sick I Have a Heart Condition," "Packing for the Journey," and "I Have a Heart Condition Workbook," with questions that will help navigate you through the challenges of forgiveness. She is a graduate of The University of Akron and has received various recognitions and awards, such as the Akron Chapter of the Ohio Black Women Leadership Caucus Inc., Lift Every Voice and Sing Award, nominated and selected for the International Who's Who of Professional and Business Women. Rema has also received several Certificates of Completion for such Bible courses as Survey of the Bible, Catechism, and Teaching with Success.
Rema has made several appearances on Christian television and radio spreading the good news of the healing power of God's word. Rema has been afforded the opportunity to travel the world as an International Flight Attendant with a major US Airline.
Rema has a heart for the hurting and desires to help people recognize the pathway to freedom and wholeness. She firmly believes in her class motto: "We don't heal in order to forgive, but we forgive in order to heal."
